As a prop maker at the National Opera and Ballet, I produced this series of lightweight but extremely stirdy furniture. The massive looking benches, stools and chairs have to be carried by ballet dancers during the performance, so I made a construction design with ribs and airplane triplex that bends over it, to make them hollow.
I produced 3 chair, 1 large couch, 2 stools and 6 benches.
